WATCH: Kim Kardashian Gets Flour Bombed On The Red Carpet (UPDATED)

UPDATE: Kim Kardashian has responded!

There is, apparently, such a thing as too much powder. In one of the funnier red carpet mishaps in recent history (Ryan Seacrest’s Oscar experience notwithstanding), Kim Kardashian was walking the step and repeat at the launch of her latest fragrance (“Reflection”, for those who are wondering) when she was attacked by a plume of white powder.

The powder, as it turns out, was flour, and was thrown by a female attendee — presumably not a fan. Somewhat surprisingly, Kim handled the bomb with aplomb. (Sorry.) (Not sorry.) After leaving the red carpet, Kim returned flour-free just ten minutes later, and told E! News:

“That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me. Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that’s a whole lot of translucent powder right there.”

Kim declined to press charges (though we’re not exactly sure what those charges would have been) and the culprit was escorted from the event. But don’t worry, there’s video — and plenty of photos.

    OK I don’t like Kim K but that’s just rude. Also I love that she’s rocking leather pants and she’s not a thin stick. Curvy women CAN rock leather pants just as well. :D

    The Kardashians are ridiculous.  In comparison to people that actually have accomplished something worthwhile during their time upon this earth, the Kardashians are the most undeserving of the fame and accompanying wealth of anyone else I can think of.  So guess what, Kim.  When you do anything you can to get, and keep, yourself in the public eye, and happily take and spend the rewards of that, there are going to be some downsides.  You think you looked ridiculous with flour all over you?  Yep, you did.  But not much more ridiculous than you and your ridiculous fame-whor*ing clan always are.
