  What Mzdoubler said.  I’m okay with celebs being on covers, especially on non-fashion mags, but I don’t think Kim falls into that category.  I mean, why is she famous?  If she could be famous, then so can I!

  No, and especially not NY Mag! She could represent like trashy LA fashion. I guess they figured it would get people debating and non lovers of Kim (can’t use word hater here) would still want to angry read it.

  What type of dumb a** question is that, of course she deserves to be on the cover, she is one of the worlds most photographed woman, whether the haters admit it or not, Kim is the it girl right now, she is exotically beautiful and she has a massive following, she is a fashion guru, although lately she has made a couple of bad outfit choices.  Kim is no different than any of the other models, the only difference is that she is on a reality show so we know all of her business. The magazine will sell and the haters will continue their full time job as haters.  Kim is not successful because of the people that hate her, she is successful because of the ones that love her and she has a great following.  Sorry haters!!

  It doesn’t really matter how Kim got famous, the point is, she IS famous and is VERY involved in mass market fashion as well as high end fashion.  Remember on one of her latest “Keeping Up With The Kardashian” episodes, her bf – Mr. KW – gifted KK with racks of Prada, Gucci, his own DW collection, etc. Not to mention the fact, Kim is always used as fashion inspiration and “get her look” across fashion magazines and fashion blogs. This isn’t a no-brainer, she deserves her spot on the cover and this issue of New York Magazine will most definitely sell out wildly everywhere. I’ll be reading it, won’t you?

  Hell No!  Her magazine covers have not been selling lately. She is on the decline. 

  Kim has been slutty fashion NEVER high-end.  Those racks of clothes were for the tv show. Have you ever seen her wear anything besides some all-black mess Kanye put together?

  No one cares anymore.

  I look forward to this mag & the fall fashion spread, but now I will cancel my subscription, I mean seriously?!  Just because someone sits on a chair does not make them a furniture designer!  She’s so wrong for this I can’t even go there, it’s insanity. So she has a ton of crappy, cheesy clothes and shoes her stylists picked out, really?! I just wish she’d go far, far away and we’d never have to hear her name again. Good luck I know!

  Why shouldn’t she be on the cover? She goes to all the runway shows. Stephan Roland was mesmerized by her. Even though she wears high end clothing, she wears affordable outfits as well. This allows ladies young and old to be able to feel great when they are able to buy the same clothing that she is donning. She has a net worth of almost 40 mil, has almost 16mil twitter followers, and is relatable. She has managed to make a mark in fashion whether anyone likes it or not. I’ve noticed that when anyone needs to put their name out there they automaticaly use Kim’s name(mostly attacking her) knowing that their name will go viral and global. Many people under estimate her and a word to the wise, DON’T. Do you think these companies invest in her because she’s not going to bring attention to their magazines, clothes, make up, vacation spots, etc., no way no how. So to the nay sayers, either give her credit or go on a site of a celebrity you like.

  Yes she does. Kim as been involved in fashion from years and it one of the most popular people right now. Her past is the past and people need to move on like she has from the sex tape.

  I’m not sure how she’s relatable. Growing up pretty rich and then jumping into fame without having to work for it? Not the American Dream. In regards to fashion, she always looks amazing, but is she really revolutionary? Does she do things we’ve never seen before? Just know that 95 percent of news is generated by PR people, and hers must be great!

  She’s a beautiful gal there is no doubt of that but, the photograph does in no way do her justice.  Sorry for the negative commentary but, she looks like she has a red eye and an Angelina Jolie wannabe.

  Comment for Janet…. Kim can be famous yes doesnt mean shes high quility end classy, nobody gives her that respect, shes just a famous face, who has no talent! Reality star! Thats it whom people dont respect, they love to see herfail,love to see her next move bc of her moral and her rashional judgments, and if thats what will bring her fame and thats what she thinks is important in life then so be it,but until then nobody will ever give her the respect she wants!
