WATCH: Dov Charney’s Accuser Speaks Out About Sex Assault
in Dov Charney is no stranger to allegations of sexual abuse, but the most recent allegations are getting a lot of media attention. This week, Kimbra Lo went on the Today Show to talk publicly about her case against Charney, shortly after fellow accuser Irene Morales did the same thing.
Lo talked about her encounter live and in a pre-taped package, saying that her main mission is to “stop what’s going on and expose this man for who he truly is.” And while it’s not exactly news that Charney has had sexual relationships with his employees, the nature of what Lo said what happened to her is even more inappropriate than simply getting in bed with the boss.
Lo says she showed up for what she thought was a job interview, but what ended up as rape.
When I arrived, he was wearing only a towel, and he attacked me. He ripped my clothes off of me and sexually assaulted me.
I made it very clear that his actions were unwanted, but he continued and became more aggressive the more I voiced my opinion.
This man’s a monster. He’s incredibly manipulative, and I just hope that he stops.
The company has fought back against accusations from Lo and Morales both, saying that they have pictures and emails that undermine their allegations. Charney’s lawyers say both women aggressively pursued sexual interaction with him, not the other way around.
We’ll be watching to see how this all plays out. In the meantime, watch Lo’s story below:
