Was Kimora’s Head Photoshopped Onto Daria’s Body?

Kimora Lee Simmons debuted her fifth fragrance earlier this month — and a seriously airbrushed-looking ad along with it.

Though Simmons is certainly beautiful, the artwork for the Dare Me ad campaign featured a decidedly more slender and, well, willowy version of the designer and left most of the blogosphere scratching their heads.

But now, thanks to a savvy Jezebel tipster, the mystery — or at least part of it — appears to be solved. Kimora’s head was photoshopped on to Daria Werbowy’s body — via an image of the model on the March 2005 cover of French Vogue.

Jessica Coen at Jezebel already did the detective work of horizontally flipping the cover so that Werbowy’s legs were aligned with Simmons’ and we think she’s spot on. We’d even concede that the torso is Werbowy’s, though the arms certainly came from elsewhere.

What do you think? Has the great photoshop mystery been solved?

Do people really do that? Isn’t Kimora a model or wasn’t she at some point? How can the rest of us even begin to compete when the models are cheating like that. Ah there’s no hope. Thank goodness I’m married.
