WATCH: Kristen Stewart Was Once Asked To Prom Someone’s Basement
KStew and JStew (that’s Jon Stewart, for the uninitiated) hung out last night on the set of The Daily Show, managing to avoid even a teensy mention of the On The Road actress’ ongoing relationship drama. If you’ll recall, when Robert Pattinson was on the show a few months back, the host offered him Ben & Jerry’s and told him to “kick her to the curb,” so we’re sure someone’s publicist is heaving a big sigh of relief right about now.
They did, however, chat about Kristen’s high school career, which, because she was also acting at the time, was a little unorthodox: “I kind of got to design my curriculum, somewhat, it was cool. It was independent study.” But, she said, “I was invited to a prom at one point. I was like who’s going to show up to a prom? The school barely existed!”
Jon, clearly a little more tapped in to the psyche’s of teenage boys, figured out the suitor’s real plan pretty quickly: “Come to my basement! It’s ‘prom’” *wink wink*
