PHOTO: What Did Elle UK Do To Kylie Minogue’s Leg?
It’s always surprising to see Photoshop fails on magazine covers — it’s almost as if the editors don’t take a step back and really look at them. The latest questionable cut, unfortunately, is Kylie Minogue on the January cover of Elle UK. Let’s take a look.
Putting aside the fact that Minogue looks like a Gwen Stefani doppleganger with that slicked-back platinum hair, it appears as though the art department has erased part of her left leg, foot, and stiletto heel. We find it hard to believe that everything below her shin is hidden behind her right leg. We even tried out the pose on our desk: no dice.
The soft purple of Minogue’s Christopher Kane dress also blends into the light background, which makes the cover — and Minogue — look a bit washed out.
