VIDEO: Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro”

It’s finally here! What you’ve been waiting for since Telephone and Bad Romance. We’re pleased to bring you another fabulously fashionable Lady Gaga music video — one we’re sure we’ll add on to our list of Most Fashionable Music Videos. We brought you the leaked photos, and now…

Here’s to 8 minutes and 43 seconds of straight Gaga as directed by Steven Klein. Could we ask for more? I don’t think so.

I actually do really like the video, even though I think she found a way to probably offend every group possible. Whatever, it’s Lady Gaga – what do you expect? I can’t wait to see the media’s (and fans’) reactions! http://www.thesmogger.com

Oh what a surprise?! Gaga video directed by Steven Klein. And what was Steven Klein doing before this? Directing Madonna. And what was Akerlun (Telephone director) doing before he did Telephone? Directing Madonna.

Except, when they directed Madonna, Madonna had actual coherent ideas, and the result was a stylised body of work that had actual MEANING. This is meaningLESS – like everything Gaga does. It looks like it’s trying to say something, but… well… it’s not. And it’s all while she sings these songs that have no relation to the imagery whatsoever. This is garbage. Where have we got to people? I will at least admit that Gaga does represent modern culture… how empty it is.
