PHOTOS: Lady Gaga Hits Hong Kong In A Gown Made Of Purple Hair
Let’s just say Lady Gaga isn’t likely to join Kate Bosworth and Zooey Deschanel as the next spokesperson for cotton. Her taste in textiles, after all, tends to veer more towards such practical materials as meat. And now, hair! Purple hair, to be exact.
The pop star kicked off her ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour last night in Seoul, and later arrived in Hong Kong wearing a very hairy floor-length dress, paired with white opera gloves, red sunglasses, and the requisite massive platforms (clearly she has neglected to watch this video). Really making the look her own (as if it could be anyone else’s), Gaga even went so far as to braid her own hair into the gown. And by “own hair” we mean “own hair extensions.” Let’s be realistic here.
This, however, isn’t Gaga’s first foray into the wild world of wig dresses. The singer stepped out in a blonder number back in 2010, but it looks like she’s taking this year’s purple hair trend to heart – in her own unique way, of course.
