Gaga’s Sold-Out Concert Canceled Because Of Her ‘Satanic Faith’

Lady Gaga‘s sold-out concert in Jakarta, Indonesia has been canceled because she’s the devil. Or something.

Gaga was scheduled to perform at the 52,000-seat Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on June 3. According to the AFP, 30,000 demonstrators from the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) had plans to protest the pop star’s performance and threatened to stop Gaga from entering the country. Chairman of the FPI Salim Alatas explains:

“We will stop her from setting foot on our land. She had better not dare spread her satanic faith in this country. Her style is vulgar, her sexual and indecent clothes will destroy our children’s sense of morality. She’s very dangerous.”

The AP reports that local and national police were worried they wouldn’t be able to provide security and thus canceled the concert. Yeah, a woman who auctioned off her used teacup is super dangerous.
