WATCH: Gaga Channels Beyonce For First Live Performance of Judas

So when Lady Gaga went on Ellen the other day to talk about things like surrealist moles and being a godmother, she also did her first live performance of her new single, Judas. If you haven’t heard it, it’s an infectious song about religion and being in love and dancing, and Gaga’s performance was OK. Or maybe it was great — we couldn’t tell, because all we could think throughout the entire ordeal was, “She’s wearing the same thing Beyonce wore in the video for Bootylicious.”

Obviously it’s not the exact same thing, of course. Beyonce’s outfit was pink and had sparkles and slits up the thigh, and Gaga’s is blue and has a little bit of a cape and, probably, a Mugler label on it somewhere. But it’s essentially the same 70s-inspired flared leg pants and bare-midriff top combo. Who worked it better? That’s up for history to decide.

I LOVE GAGA! BUT , THIS IS HER WORST PERFORMANCE EVER! THE COSTUME IS HORRIBLE!!!! THE PANTS ARE SHORT, ITS SAGS AT THE CROTCH. AND LOOKS VERY CHEEP! AND HER HAIR AND MAKE UP IS TRAGIC! That was horrible…..she sounded awful. The outfit is latex so it might be Atsuko Kudo, which she often wears, though their stuff is usually much nicer than this.

Why don’t you go watch Beyonce sing live and dance. Gaga is good but to even compare the two…. Gaga runs out of breath while singing and dancing. AND Her singing is not up to par with Beyonce’s .

Of course is Beyoncé better! Lady Gaga is good but way no so good as Beyoncé. Beyoncé can sing and dance gagas ass off :D

the costume is probably because Lady Gaga and Beyonce have used the same choreographers and creative directors. When the use the same people, the same concepts are re-used because it is the same people directing the dances and creating the performances.

beyonce sings and dances live too…she doesn’t need supid props and crazy costumes to put on a good show. little monster need to calm down, gaga had a bad performance. she’s no god.
