WATCH: Lady Gaga Serenades Oprah From A Stiletto-Shaped Piano
As far as we’re concerned, there’s no better way to start the day than with a little Lady Gaga — unless of course it’s Oprah. Which is better? We can’t decide, so we’re just going to do both. Yesterday, Lady Gaga performed on the last episode of Oprah’s Harpo Hookups show, where she serenaded the TV sensation and her guest, actor Johnny Depp. And even though Johnny Depp is boss, we more or less forgot he was there as soon as we saw Gaga’s piano.
The stiletto-shaped sculpture was an art project by Gaga’s younger sister that got converted to accommodate an electric keyboard just for the occasion. And while we’d probably be a little miffed if our big sister took one of our school projects and messed about with it, we get the feeling that this was sort of an honor. Because it was for Oprah.
