PHOTO: ‘Lady Gaga’ Pees Standing Up For Candy Magazine
We sorta thought all of the “Lady Gaga could very well be a hermaphrodite” jokes ended with the music video for “Telephone” but it turns out that we were wrong. Candy Magazine, which earlier in the month posted photos of James Franco in drag, hired a male Lady Gaga impersonator to find out what it would look like if Gaga used a urinal.
And we have to say, it’s a pretty stunning photo. In fact, it was so good that the editors at Jezebel thought it was actually Gaga herself. Edward Vigilletti is a dead ringer for our fair lady, and his costume and makeup are impeccable — or as impeccable as they could be standing in front of a toilet in a seedy-looking bathroom. It’s a playful commentary on the way rumors spread and fester. It would have looked mean or insensitive anywhere else, but feels right at home in the pages of the “first transversal style magazine.”
Now we’re only wondering two things: What will Lady Gaga think, and what do you think of this photo?
