WATCH: Gaga & Justin Timberlake Mock Penis Shoe Censorship For SNL
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Lady Gaga is having quite a week. She’s edited Metro, released a teaser for a documentary with Jean Paul Gaultier, and hosted a (successful!) sale on Gilt. She’s also the subject of an MTV special, and is tonight’s Saturday Night Live musical guest!
Justin Timberlake is this week’s host, and he filmed some pretty great promos with Gaga. You should watch the whole reel, but highlights include a jab at American Idol‘s penis shoe censorship and Gaga thanking Timberlake for letting her borrow the crazy red leather getup she’s wearing. Relatedly, what is it with SNL musical guests and red leather?
By the way, some Gaga superfans have been waiting for tickets to the show outside of NBC‘s studios at 30 Rock since Thursday. (They’re also no doubt freaking out about Monday’s release of Born This Way.) The pop superstar sent over pizza and boxes of Dunkin’ Donuts that first night, and followed up with coffee the next day. So nice!
