Lady Gaga Will Appear As Her Animated Self On The Simpsons
Lady Gaga just keeps on doing things. She’ll be hitting up the VMAs on Sunday, but we’re more excited for her turn on The Simpsons.
Yesterday Gaga recorded an episode in which she plays her (animated) self. Explains Yeardley Smith, aka Lisa Simpson:
“This is extraordinary! I’m stunned that she has time in her schedule that she’s coming to our studio to record. She’s playing herself, and [The Simpsons writers] describe her as the happiest, most optimistic person in the world. She comes to Springfield to try to cheer up Lisa, but she can’t.”
There’s no word on when exactly the episode will air, but Gaga has actually appeared on the series before. She was Elton John‘s date to the Golden Globes in an episode, though she didn’t speak and/or sing. Check out the video below, just in case you don’t believe us:
