PHOTOS: Lambs Are The Most Fashionable Animals Of All Time

You heard it here first: lambs are officially the most fashionable animals of all time!

We don’t really know why. We do know that their fleece is super soft, and that Manchego (a sheep’s milk cheese!) is our favorite. Anyway! Lambs walked the spring runways, at both Etam (a live one was paraded down by Karolina Kurkova) and Emanuel Ungaro (a stuffed one was held by Anna Dello Russo), and now Penelope Cruz has posed with one for the cover of Elle Japan‘s April issue.

While three’s a trend, five’s even better. Last winter both Vogue Nippon and Vogue China featured lambs in fashion editorials. In an effort to feed our ovine obsession, please send any other fashionable lamb photos our way.
