Lara Stone Gives Eva Mendes The Boot

WWD is reporting that model Lara Stone has signed on to be the face of both Calvin Klein Collection and Calvin Klein Jeans. We’ve all seen the current Calvin Klein advertisements and billboards: an image of actress Eva Mendes, looking very sweaty and in varying shades of undress. Well, looks like it’s Mendes out, Stone, in.

And how in Stone is. Lara is everywhere, appearing on influential magazine covers (W, i-D, French and Italian Vogue ), walking in the seasons most significant shows (Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Gaultier, and Chanel) and appearing in major ad campaigns (Louis Vuitton, Just Cavalli, and Jil Sander). While Calvin Klein won’t confirm anything just yet (a spokesperson told WWD, “We haven’t made any talent announcements for fall campaigns yet and we don’t comment on rumor,”), we think it’s a solid fit.

Calvin Klein is set to make an announcement regarding their Fall 2010 ad campaigns in the next few weeks.
