Lauren Conrad’s New MTV Show Is About Her ‘Work Life’
Just a couple days ago we mused about Lauren Conrad‘s latest foray into reality TV. The Laguna Beach and Hills alum played coy, but we had a few ideas about what this show could possibly be about. Looks like we were right (see item #4, thankyouverymuch)!
Conrad’s new show will be about fashion, people! She told MTV News: “”The new project will follow me as I develop my new contemporary line and also touch on my other businesses.” As we reported back in August, Conrad’s new line will have a higher price point and a more “boutique” feel.
Filming will start next month, but don’t expect to learn about Conrad’s love life — it seems like she’s finally learned her lesson. She’s currently dating actor Kyle Howard, but he won’t be making an appearance on the show. She explained to Ryan Seacrest: “I’ve always been open to doing reality again, just under certain circumstances. As long as you have a separation, then it works. You have your personal life and you have work life; when they’re combined, it’s difficult.”
Well, we all know what happens when reality TV and fashion combine, so we say: good luck, Lauren! We’ll be watching!
