Lea T Makes First Runway Appearance After Gender Reassignment Surgery

Lea T has returned to the runway — and for the first since undergoing gender reassignment surgery last year.

Let’s recap: Lea was Riccardo Tisci‘s longtime muse before he casted her in a Givenchy ad campaign in 2010. Since then, she’s landed plenty of other ad campaigns, mag covers, and runway shows. Lea revealed that she was planning on getting gender reassignment surgery (see: here and here), underwent said surgery last year, and has now made her much-awaited return.

This past weekend, Lea walked in a show in São Paulo celebrating Elle Brasil‘s 24th anniversary. Show wore a fruit-printed dress and looked amazing. She’s also confirmed to make runway appearances during Fashion Rio and São Paulo Fashion Week in June.
