Leandra Medine Is Collaborating With PJK On A Man-Repelling Line
Finally, blogger Leandra Medine, a.k.a the Man Repeller, is working on some designs of her own! She’s teaming up with clothing brand PJK (Patterson J. Kincaid‘s rebranded name) to create a line that will be available for spring 2013.
The collaboration is called Man Repeller x PJK…Just Sayin’. WWD says that Medine designed the line with PJK Creative Director Chelsey Santry, and that the result is a fusion of Medine’s avant-garde New York style and Santry’s laid-back, feminine West Coast pieces. Santry said of the collaboration:
“The collection will be wearable insanity — in the coolest sense of the word. It will be whimsical, colorful and playful. There are leather jackets you can wear out at night; quirky graphic Ts, and feminine, girly dresses that go under a big army vest.”
Pieces from the collaboration will be pricier than PJK’s regular line — Leandra’s designs will retail from $198 to $398 compared to PJK’s usual $98 to $198. We’re excited to see the finished product! Would you buy the Man Repeller’s clothes?
