WATCH: Inside Lindsay Lohan’s Empty, Chanel Bag-Decorated Bedroom
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to live like Lindsay Lohan, the perennially-on-parole starlet is featured on this week’s episode of Million Dollar Decorators. Yes, the once-future great actress of a generation is now appearing on Bravo reality-docu-series.
While Lohan filmed the first part of her home decor makeover back in March (which is to say: the “before” segment), she has reportedly refused to let Bravo’s cameras back inside to film the “after” part. According to TMZ, the Million Dollar Decorators team spent over $200,000 to furnish Lohan’s house — which, presumably, is why she agreed to do the show in the first place; girl is broke — and all for naught. Sources told the tabloid that “the home is now so messy … it’s completely unfilmable.”
Hulu posted a preview clip of the episode today, in which Lohan takes decorator Kathryn Ireland on a tour of her newly-rented Hollywood Hills home. We’ll cut her a little slack — moving is never easy — but we thought that Lohan wouldn’t exactly be furniture-less. She’s been living more or less on her own for years. Instead, at least in the clip below, all she’s got is a mirrored four-poster bed, Hermès bags in tupperware bins, Chanel bags atop a mantel for “decoration”, and a black leather couch. It sure takes a lot of money to live that cheaply.
