8 Reasons To Love Love Mag’s Issue 4
FACT: Katie Grand is a style genius. Love Magazine, the publication where Katie holds court, continues to be one of our favorite non-mainstream magazines for its wildly innovative fashion spreads and thought-provoking editorial.
And of course, there’s always their cover hype. When Love presented readers with eight covers for their full frontal nude Body Issue, the magazine became a virtual collector’s item. So it comes as no surprise to us that for their fourth installment, they would again release the magazine in a series of eight covers. After all, it is their September issue. Go big and plentiful, or go home.
Love Magazine teamed up with Models.com to release two covers a day for four days, all shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The first two featured an androgynous looking Alessandra Ambrosio pegged as “The Angel” and a leopard print clad Rosie Huntington-Whiteley named “The Siren”. The second group consisted of Gisele Bündchen, “The Bombshell,” and a black and white toned Lauren Hutton, aptly named “The Heroine.” Then, we were presented with “The Rebel” — Agyness Deyn, course — and eerily, “The Mannequin,” which is an image of a doll named Ms. Perfect.
Today, the final two covers were released. One depicting British model Kelly Brook — “The Sweetheart” — in the nude, with only a boa covering her breasts, and the other featuring an unrecognizable Sienna Miller — “The Pin-Up” — in a black one-piece. Some may say, they saved the best for last.
Love Magazine’s Issue 4 hits newsstands on August 23rd.
