WATCH: A Sneak Peek At Mad Men’s Season 4 Duds
Oh, how we love Mad Men. If it wasn’t enough that AMC‘s Emmy award-winning drama about 60s-era New York advertising executives was intensely written and superbly acted, we’d still love the show because of its amazing costumes. For three seasons, costume designer Janie Bryant has been serving up spot-on period ensembles for the actors and may well be credited with the affirmation that the fashion world has turned back to classic American style — even venerable Brooks Brothers signed on to provide impeccable suits for the male cast.
To give you a little taste of what to expect in the fourth season (it premieres on AMC July 25), watch as Bryant discusses Don Draper‘s darkening duds and why “hanger appeal” is largely overrated.
