WATCH: Madonna Flashes Nipple During Istanbul Concert

Some things change, some things say the same, and Madonna will court controversy wherever she goes. During a concert in Istanbul, Turkey last Thursday night, the Queen of Pop flashed the audience in a move so deliberate it made Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl XXXVIII “nip slip” look like a case of bad wardrobe tape.

While performing her 1995 hit, “Human Nature”, Madonna systematically removed her menswear-inspired costume — first throwing her cane into the audience, then her white button-down, before loosing the garter-like straps on her black lace bra. She then pointed (very pointedly) at her right nipple before pulling down her bra and exposing her right breast. She finished with a shrug and a smirk — to thunderous applause, naturally.

Let’s just hope this doesn’t inspire another spate of red carpet nobodies hoping for their five seconds of fame.
