Uh Oh: A Very Glamour-ous Truck Collision On I-80

Earlier Thursday morning, two big rigs collided onto a dirt path off of I-80. But the crash in and of itself isn’t what’s causing buzz.

Rather, the contents of one of the trucks — advanced copies of Glamour Magazine with Lea Michele on the cover — were scattered all over the dirt path, causing around 11 hours of clean up time. Now, 48,000 pounds of Glamour are being taken to the dump.

We had two thoughts come to mind, after, of course, we realized the truck drivers were okay.

1. Thank heavens this wasn’t the September issue. For starters, talk about a spoiler! And most importantly, that 48,000 pounds of clean up would have been at least double that weight! Last year’s collection of September titles weighed approximately 19 pounds versus the August issues which weighed in at around 7 pounds.

2. Lea Michele looks great! We could notice that Glee-ful smile anywhere, but were thrilled to get a close up of the issue. Apparently, next month, we’ll be learning about some Sexy Little Beauty Ideas. It’s a good thing one member of the clean up crew described the fall trends as “not his thing,” or else we’d be hitting them up for some October issue previews!
