PHOTOS: A Sneak Peek At Maison Martin Margiela Ads For H&M

As the launch date for Maison Martin Margiela‘s collab with H&M draws closer, we’re getting more teasers about the collection, like juicy details, terribly short videos, and a single image. The latest and greatest are a set of photos from the ad campaign!

Today, we’re treated to not one, but two pics — the first a photo of an ad via The Fashion Spot, and the second a behind-the-scenes pic of British artist, photographer, and filmmaker Sam Taylor-Johnson photographing another campaign image.

The Fashion Spot user honeycombchild uploaded a picture of the ad as seen in a British glossy. A model is sporting the “Horizontal Dress”, a black draped number with asymmetrical sleeves, and retails for £99.99, or around $162.

In the behind-the-scenes black and white pic, a model is standing between two cars, and wearing a dress (or a long shirt sans pants?), and an oversized blazer while Taylor-Johnson and her crew do their thing. The print ads will land in magazines this month, and “a series of short films” will hit television screens starting November 8.

Taylor-Johnson tells WWD:

“Working with such an anarchic house as Martin Margiela alongside a high-street brand was a challenge that creatively became a crazy, fun project. I wanted to create an atmosphere that was both quiet and still. That each person was in their own emotional and physical thought space. A world away from the heady atmosphere of the usual urban noise.”

The collection will be available in stores and online November 15.
