Let’s Talk About What Sasha And Malia Wore To Pardon Turkeys

We’ve been nursing the theory lately that Malia Obama is the White House’s own undercover hipster and we’ve never taken for granted the pizazz Sasha puts into each and every one of her outfits, but the sartorial debut these first daughters made to pardon a pair of turkeys yesterday more or less blows our minds.

Malia’s burgundy polkadot dress may as well (and may well) be Marc Jacobs, while Sasha is rocking a pair of metallic blue kicks eerily reminiscent of Louboutin’s lace-up oxfords. Gah, and her blazer! And Malia’s patent booties! It’s like our Tumblr dashboard just exploded all over the White House steps.

Say what? These seem to be nice kids, but fashion statements? Come on. Careful styleite, your left leaning politics are showing. You just can’t help but fall all over yourselves about anything obama. And no, while Michele occasionally wears appropriate clothes (unlike what she wore to meet the Queen of England, arrogantly breaching every international protocol going) she is no style icon either.
