Leandra Medine Owns A $3,000 Pair Of Christian Louboutins

Leandra Medine has an impressive wardrobe, and an even more lust-worthy shoe collection. In an interview with Footwear News, the Man Repeller opens her shoe closet to the world.

Medine has over 100 pairs of fancy footwear from the likes of Christian Louboutin, Proenza Schouler, Isabel Marant, Charlotte Olympia, and Alexander Wang. And while her tastes typically run the more expensive gamut (see aforementioned brands), she also sports Supergas (which cost around $50 a pair).

“It’s a weird relationship. Ultimately, shoes are just a really fun mode of escapism for a woman. The higher the heel, the more fantasy is put into the shoe. The thing that is great about shoes is that you don’t have to be a certain size for them to look good. They always fit you. There’s something about expensive footwear that makes a woman feel so special in a way that an expensive dress just doesn’t. My mom always said,’Invest your money in shoes and handbags, and you can improvise the rest with meager means.’”

The blogger also hates leopard print shoes, and admires Alexa Chung‘s “toddler dressing” style.
