WATCH: Hurricane Sandy Left Marc Jacobs Homeless

Hurricane Sandy has forced no shortage of downtown fashion folk like Anna Wintour, Carine Roitfield, and Marc Jacobs to seek refuge uptown. Jacobs was caught by TMZ paparazzi on the Upper East Side this weekend while walking his dog and smoking a stoge, and he revealed the state of his West Village digs.

The designer tells TMZ that Sandy flooded his apartment. He hasn’t been allowed to go back to his apartment yet, but he kinda sorta doesn’t mind, noting: “Yeah, I had to move up here. It’s not so bad.” See, every cloud does have a silver lining.
