CONFIRMED: Marc Jacobs And Lorenzo Martone Have Split

Despite a lavish engagement party in St. Barth’s, it appears that Marc Jacobs and his longtime partner Lorenzo Martone won’t be walking down the aisle anytime soon.

At a party last night for the release of his newest men’s fragrance, Jacobs told UK Vogue definitively, “No I am not getting married.”

But according to reports, the decision not to wed doesn’t stem from any political statement. Instead, it turns out those pesky rumors of a break up that wouldn’t go away were actually true. And we have the tweet to prove it.

About an hour ago, @lorenzomartone tweeted the following:

“thanks for t notes. yes, I saw t press today. We are not together, haven’t been in 2 months. And we will not comment on it. Sorry. We r fine”

No word on the breakup from Marc Jacobs, but we’ll keep you updated on the end of this fashionable love affair.
