WATCH: Michelle’s Arms Look Better Than Ever On The Colbert Report

Michelle Obama made her second appearance on The Colbert Report Wednesday night, almost four years after her first. To mark the occasion, Obama opted for a purple-y grey, sleeveless sheath dress with a floral brooch. And while she certainly charmed Colbert and the crowd with her passion for veterans and her Joining Forces initiative, we couldn’t take our eyes off her arms.

Is it just us, or are they better than ever? And we don’t mean to reduce such an awesome woman to a conversation about body parts, but ohmygod her arms. Can we have arms like that please? Also, they look smooth as silk, just like Emily Blunt said!

While there, Obama chose to officially endorse her husband for president.

“I am endorsing my husband, Barack Obama. I think he will be a phenomenal president. He has done a phenomenal job. He’s my man!”

Did you hear that? He’s her man.

Marie Tillman represented The Pat Tillman Foundation at First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Joining Forces” ceremony yesterday at the White House.  Marie is the widow of Pat Tillman, the NFL player killed in 2004 by friendly fire in Afghanistan (his death was covered up by the Army.  Those responsible were whitewashed by both the Bush and Obama administrations).

Last year, President Obama appointed Gen. Stanley McChrystal to head the advisory board of the new “Joining Forces” program.   In response, Mary Tillman [Pat Tillman’s mother] said, “It’s a slap in the face to appoint this man” … “He deliberately helped cover up Pat’s death”… someone who has a heartfelt desire to help families would not have been involved in the cover-up of a soldier’s death…”

And former San Francisco Chronicle Editor Narda Zacchino said, “It is bewildering and tasteless, after McChrystal’s callous disregard for the Tillman family throughout this entire episode, that Barack Obama should appoint him to a high-profile position having anything to do with helping military families.”

When asked about Mary’s remarks, Michelle Obama said, “we’re proud to have him [McChrystal] on board” and White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said “that [President] Obama is “very aware … of the general’s résumé.”
