Miranda Kerr Loves Posting Pictures Of Her Breastfeeding Her Son

Miranda Kerr is really into publicly posting pictures of her breastfeeding her son, Flynn! This is a thing that has now happened twice! It’s a little weird!

We’re not going to get into the politics of breastfeeding at the moment (yes, it’s a very political thing!), but we do get a bit uncomfortable when we see ladies whip a boob out in public. Anyway! Kerr definitely doesn’t think this is a particularly private act, as she has twice posted nursing photos on the internetz.

The first photo appeared on her cosmetics company’s blog, and the second was tweeted out just a few days ago. In the most recent photo, it’s unclear if she’s wearing anything under her robe, but she is wearing a pair of Dorothy-like red heels. Because why not! Behold, Miranda feeding Flynn:

It’s not “weird.” Breastfeeding is – or at least SHOULD be – normal. When media outlets like yours call it “weird” you just perpetuate the problem.

Agree Dawn. I also think that any excuse to catch a glance at that chest baby or no is worth it! I breastfed my son in public till he was almost 3 – get over it!

Women do this all the time, it’s a part of motherhood. What’s rude is that Styleite’s implying that breastfeeding in public is “weird.” I think it makes Miranda more human and closer to people than ever..

I’m grateful to Miranda for normalizing a very natural act that has become somehow “weird.” I felt enough shame about my body and about breastfeeding my own children after they were born without help from others. Shame for feeding my own baby the way nature intended– I’m glad I got past that.
