WATCH: Mischa Barton Has Never Used A Stylist, Hires June Ambrose

Mischa Barton hasn’t had the best luck on the red carpet — remember that flapper helmet? — which is why she’s finally enlisted the services of celebrity stylist June Ambrose, on whose upcoming reality show she’ll also be appearing.

In a preview clip, Barton admits to Ambrose she’s never used a stylist, which wouldn’t be a bad thing (people can dress themselves) if not for her decisions to wear pale yellow pants and no good, very bad, flat front shorts. She also tells the cameras (convenient!) that she thinks Ambrose could help her out with the press, admitting that her coverage has been less than ideal.

I was literally 17 when “The O.C.” blew up. The paparazzi and that craziness — it sucks the soul out of you and it distracts you. That was why the press attention made me feel the way it did, and it made me a bit angry and want to do my own thing.

We can’t wait to see how this goes.

As for the show itself, it looks like Ambrose will be giving Rachel Zoe a run for her drama-filled money. You can watch the full “super trailer” below.
