Missoni’s Children Want Answers
The children of Vittorio Missoni and Maurizia Castiglioni, whose small plane went missing off of the coast of Venezuela three weeks ago, issued a tweet on Friday asking fans and followers of their father, and those who were present in Los Roques on January 4th, for any information regarding his disappearance. “Please help us,” the plea read. “Every single detail is essential.”
The Missonis expressed gratitude at the efforts of both the Italian and Venezuelan governments, but also understandable frustration that attempts to locate the missing plane have as yet proved fruitless.
They also reiterated Vittorio‘s brother Luca‘s statement to WWD earlier this week that the only hard fact in the case is the coordinates of where the aircraft went off the radar. The message was signed by the children of the couple who accompanied the Missonis on their vacation as well.
It’s the latest effort in a confusing case rife with mysterious texts, the potential for kidnapping, and gloomy precedents. Anyone with related information is encouraged to email troviamoli@gmail.com, an email account created specifically to handle tips from the public.
