Guess How Much Money Miuccia Prada Made Last Year?
You probably could have guessed that Miuccia Prada was a very rich lady, what with people all over the world running around in her stripey clothing and bedecked in her various leathergoods. But if you had to guess how many millions she makes in a year, what would you say? Five million? Ten? If you guessed that low, you’d be wrong.
According to documents released by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Prada took home €9.7 million last year, and at current exchange that’s about $14.1 million. Her husband and Prada CEO Patrizio Bertelli made a very cool €10 million, which is about $14.6 million. Needless to say, the Prada household is doing pretty good.
Women’s Wear Daily found these two juicy tidbits in a 450-page document made public by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Now that it’s about to go public, Prada has had to divulge all of its secrets, and we’re looking forward to what else we’ll learn about the company from all this new information.
