  After looking at this collection and many other “high profile” collaborations, I’m only left thinking “Are they for real?” This seriously looks like the designer decided to play a joke on the world in which they make the ugliest clothing they can imagine and then see who buys it simply because of the name. Fusion of two dresses/shirts/coats/whatever….really?? And who is going to buy oversized jeans or a DUVET COAT THAT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE YOU’RE JUST WEARING A BLANKET??? This is absurd. And if you actually think this “is one of the year’s best,” then I’m going to stop reading Styleite.

  This is delightful! I think I might even be able to buy something during the launch week! I guarantee the folks around my H&M are not going to “get it”.

  You sound like you wear Hollister. Maison Martin Margiela is actually an exceptional fashion house. You obviously are don’t enjoy clothes that stretch boundaries, so don’t buy from this collection. And Styleite would probably appreciate if you stopped using their website as well.

  Duvet coat smacks of Kamali but then, she’s always getting ripped off isn’t she? Some brilliant pieces and some not so much but the black flat boots are calling my name.

  As much as I adore this collection and MMM, it was probably a bad decision economically for H&M to do this collab. I feel that a lot of their clientele won’t “get” the aesthetic and the clothing is admittedly unflattering for many body shapes- unless they limit the number of products they sell they’re going to have a lot of leftovers.
  With that being said, I’m going for the glove clutch!
