Like MTV’s Video Music Awards, the MTV Movie Awards allows Hollywood’s celebrities to forget about those stuffy gowns and opt for a more contemporary look where sparkles and cleavage dominate. All too often, stars take this freedom too a bit far and class and elegance are thrown out the window.

This year, Kristen Stewart’s most notable accessory was her ever present awkwardness and Lindsay Lohan borrowed Britney Spears’ 2000 VMA outfit from her Oops I Did It Again performance. Eva Mendes looked gorgeous and Rachel Zoe-styled and Anna Kendrick’s Zac Posen dress was fresh and summery.
