PHOTOS: Taylor, Katy & More Work MTV Europe Music Awards

Today’s MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid drew stars from across the globe, and in typical MTV fashion, the red carpet was a doozy. Eva Longoria Parker hosted the show, whose attendees included newlyweds Katy Perry and Russell Brand (in their first public appearance since their Indian nuptials) and a dour-looking Taylor Momsen (when’s the last time that girl smiled?).

1.Katy Perry

Katy, what are you wearing? A red sequined ticket dress, that's what! She paired the super odd frock with bright blue peep toe platforms.

2.Miley Cyrus

Miley is working the innocence angle these days, no? A high neckline, floor-length hem, lots of ruffles and floppy bow are trying a bit too hard. We do dig her awesome wristwear, though.

3.Taylor Momsen

We refuse to discuss Taylor's outfits until the chick cracks a smile. What is with her?

4.Rihanna

Rihanna looks more formal than most of the other attendees, and her dress is kind of great! The intricate detailing is downplayed by the gown's soft, neutral color, and for once Rihanna's red 'do doesn't overwhelm.

5.Eva Longoria Parker

We almost like Eva's getup, but her hemline seems too short for the dress's proportions. The sculpted shoulders are cool, however, as are her embellished heels.

I;m a sucker for gowns so I’ll go with Rihanna, however for a more wearable look definitely Katy. honorable mentions to Miley – for not showing it all, less is ALWAYS! more & although I love Taylor, she has to stop looking like a cheap prostitute – she’s way too talented and beautiful to under represent herself
