PHOTOS: This May Just Be The Craziest Red Carpet Of All Time
Last night Japan had their very own MTV Video Music Awards, and if you were expecting a subdued affair like we saw at last years VMAs stateside, you’re in for a very big surprise.
Polka dot kimonos, ten-inch platforms, fluorescent pink tights, and star-spangled suit jackets all made an appearance on the red carpet, as did Linkin Park (remember them?). And while we suppose there were a few dresses that were borderline regular red carpet fare, where’s the fun in that? Bring on the feathers and sequins and bands with names like Bump Of Chicken.
Our favorite look of the evening may have to be the rainbow unicorn stuck to the front of a dress belonging to a member of 2NE1. In fact, is it too late to get our hands on one of those for our Pride parties today? We’re pretty sure it would be a HUGE hit.
