MTV award shows are a whole lot looser than most, and that’s always reflected in the red carpet fashion. Where else could Lady Gaga wear a dress made of meat? Last night’s MTV Movie Awards were no exception. Celebs went short and funky, bright and sparkly, and we have a roundup of the night’s most memorable ensembles just for you!

We’ve got the Emmas (Watson and Stone, that is), the Gossip Girls (Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, and Jessica Szohr), our favorite teenage style stars (Hailee Steinfeld, Elle Fanning, and Selena Gomez), and members of the young Hollywood set (Mila Kunis and Kristen Stewart).

Some of the pictures you chose don’t seem the best choices to judge what they were wearing. Despite that, I actually think they all made great choices for the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards. Obviously these would not be apporpriate choices for the Oscars or Golden Globes but they do work for MTV. If I have to pick a favorite I think it’s Elle Fanning’s cute romper; it’s young and fun and the shoes are amazing.

I liked both Emma’s in Marchesa and Bottega Venega, respectively, Leighton and Mila in Balmain and Blake in Michael Kors. Too hard to decide =| they all looked good. I can’t take the MTV Movie Awards seriously, so it’s only natural that the ladies wear something playful to go with the occasion..
