A Look At Formichetti’s Brief (But Never Boring!) Mugler Career
Today it was announced that, after two years at the helm, Nicola Formichetti is parting ways with the house of Thierry Mugler. Tear.
But even though the WWD announcement characterizes the split as amicable, we can’t help but be disappointed that the stylist’s run has come to an end. Formichetti joined the brand in 2010, bringing with him the heavyweight star power of his client and friend Lady Gaga, a penchant for social media, and a stylized, tech-savvy aesthetic primed and ready for the plugged-in customer.
