Nicola Formichetti’s Debut Mugler Handbag Collection Is Here!

Nicola Formichetti‘s debut handbag collection for Mugler is set to launch in stores in February, and we’ve got your first look at all the line.

The 30-piece ~~handbag~~ “sculptural objets d’art” collection features structured satchels and clutches with wicked details like talon-shaped accents, and is issued in lux animal skins like leather, crocodile, snake, and alligator.

“This is now my 4th collection as creative director of Mugler, and following the evolution of the brand, I was interested in creating sculptured objects in 3D, a piece of the Mugler world that one can carry around, an element that completes the look.”

The pieces range between $1,050 and $18,000, and will be available stateside at Barney’s New York, Maxfield, Opening Ceremony, Patron of the New, and Joan Shepp, as well as e-commerce sites like Shopbop and Moda Operandi.
