The 20 Most Scantily-Clad Stars Ever To Hit The Oscars Red Carpet

You know the old adage “If you’ve got it, flaunt it”? Well, these celebrities are most certainly flaunting it with backless gowns, plunging necklines, and thigh-baring ensembles, and they’re doing it on the most-watched red carpet of the year.

Some, like Halle Berry and Hilary Swank, made Oscars history with their strategically skin-bearing gowns, while others, like Cher, earned themselves a double shout-out from us today, landing on our all-time worst dressed list.

Will we have any daring nominees pushing the envelope this year? We can only hope so — though whether the PVC gowns that capped off Versace‘s runway show today will make an appearance remains to be seen (fingers crossed!).
