PHOTO: Naomi Offers Up The Naked Truth For British GQ

So this is Naomi Campbell, naked like a newborn child, with half of her body hidden underwater, on the March cover of British GQ.

Normally this wouldn’t sound like a bad thing — after all, she’s been in an Eastern Promises-themed shoot, and even one where she sort of openly snubbed Lady Gaga. But this one is supposed to send the message that you’re going to get the truth — and nothing but the truth — about that trifling blood diamond scandal she was involved with all those many months ago.

You remember, the one involving Charles Taylor? The Liberian president accused of all sorts of grisly war crimes and civil rights abuses? The one who gave her a sack of conflict diamonds nearly 15 years ago that came back to haunt her when Taylor’s trial came before the United Nations’ Special Court for Sierra Leone? Yeah. That one.

Well, even after being reticent about the whole affair, Campbell (and GQ!) now say that the whole truth — nay, the naked truth — nay, the truth she wouldn’t even tell Oprah! — is what you’ll find in March issue of the magazine. And it can be yours for £3.99!
