Important Question: What Is Naomi Campbell Doing On CNBC?
There are a lot of things we can see Naomi Campbell doing: lying to a judge, throwing a statement necklace at a puppy, even generously allowing a homeless person to smell her fragrance as she walks down the street shielded by security guards and paparazzi. But doing a program on CNBC, the business news television channel of record? What’s up with that?
Apparently, Campbell is going to be the focus of one of the channel’s Meets series, which will follow her life from growing up in London to starring on catwalks and magazine covers all over the world. The famously press shy Campbell told Vogue UK that she’s excited to see her life on screen.
“I’ve really enjoyed working with [presenter Tania Bryer] on this programme, and I’m looking forward to seeing the finished show!” Campbell told us. “For me, it’s really important to remember my roots and experiences growing up – it’s those things that make you the person that you are. London will always be home to me and it was so much fun to take a walk down memory lane and visit the house I grew up in.”
Wanna know how we know the program won’t contain any information about that huge blood diamond controversy Campbell was involved in? Because she called it “so much fun.” Tune in to see what does make it on the air on September 28 at 10 pm.
