Naomi Campbell Won’t Let A Leg Brace Get In The Way Of Her Dinner

Naomi Campbell is a goddess among mere mortals, so if she wants to go out for a fancy dinner, she’s going to — torn ligament and cumbersome leg brace be damned!

Campbell dined with our new favorite Vogue editor Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele (that name!) and photographer Steven Meisel at the Beatrice Inn in New York City last night. She walked in with crutches and a leg brace, but took off the brace when the food came out. Don’t you just hate when a leg brace gets between you and your fork? It’s the worst.

But Campbell and company weren’t the only fashion fixtures at the restaurant, which is owned by Vanity Fair‘s Graydon Carter. Donna Karan, Vera Wang, and Calvin Klein were sitting two tables away, and the trio stopped by for a chat at Campbell’s table. A source told Page Six, “It takes a special person, i.e. Naomi, to get those three to get up and walk to someone else’s table.”

Yeah, recognize, people.
