FIRST LOOK: Narciso Rodriguez’s Capsule Collection for Kohl’s!

A few days ago, we found out that Narciso Rodriguez would be launching a diffusion line for Kohl’s. Now we’ve got the full scoop — and the details are pretty intriguing.

Rodriguez will be the first of several designers to participate in a program called Design Nation, which is the brainchild of LF USA. The program takes designers to an international city of their choice to find inspiration for a capsule collection. Rodriguez’s choice? Istanbul. We’re already on board!

Rodriguez told WWD of his time in Turkey:

“There is such a great mix of Europe and Asia, and a really cool new scene, from the arts to the kids, the graffiti, the colors of the streets, the patinas on the walls, the tiles on the floors. I was taking it in from so many different angles. The adventure seemed like a great opportunity to do something new.”

And it gets better. Rumor has it Derek Lam will be the program’s next participant! Wonder what city he’ll pick.
