PHOTO: Natalie Portman Debuts A New Hair Color

Natalie Portman has traded in her glossy brunette strands for honey-blonde locks! She made the debut in Los Angeles at husband Benjamin Millepied‘s L.A. Dance Project at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

She told The Hollywood Reporter that the new hue was for a movie role, but didn’t disclose which one. According to IMDB, she’s currently filming Thor: The Dark World and yet-to-be-named film by Terrence Malick. “My mom says I’m like a different person,” Portman said. “I did it just a couple of days ago.”

The 31-year-old actress and newlywed paired her freshly-dyed strands with a white strapless Christian Dior Couture dress with ombre embellishments, and while we’re typically anti-strapless frocks, we’ve got to hand it to Portman for pulling this look off with aplomb.
