PHOTOS: Natalie And Winona At ‘Black Swan’ Premiere

With the exception of Blake Lively in that blood-red Chanel number, we haven’t seen too many red-carpet looks we like at the Toronto Film Festival. So when Natalie Portman and Winona Ryder, both of whom have caused stirs (take that how you will) on the red carpet in the past, we got excited that they’d up the ante.

And they did not. They both looked slightly respectable in cocktail dress-type emsembles. Natalie’s black-and-white sleeveless print with a fluttery skirt and rusched bodice went above the knee; Winona’s corseted top and skirt combo went below. We’re thoroughly nonplussed with both of these looks, so we thought we’d ask you guys to help us make up our minds.

    Styleite, I understand your dilemma. Frankly, I’m surprised and confused at these two ladies. My vote goes to Natalie, but I’m not impressed. This dress reminds me of something I picked off the clearance rack at Express in 2001. Winona, is that midriff I see? Fashion fail. The jewelry bores me, the skirt is too long and I’m left wondering if your girls can breathe in that corset. Get in the game ladies!
