WATCH: Neon Water Tube Dresses Are The New Black

We’re not sure if Charlie Bucket is his real name or just a not-so-subtle Roald Dahl reference, but the Minneapolis-based artist has made an impressively inventive dress. Six hundred feet of plastic tubing were knitted together to create the garment, though its real beauty comes to life when neon liquid is pumped through it.

The project has been a couple of years in the making, and the dress isn’t quite wearable (a big pump has to be attached to the dress to get the full effect). Nevertheless, the result is really quite beautiful. Also, it totally reminds of the super sexy (and super NSFW) Robyn video for “Indestructible.”
