PHOTOS: Nicole Scherzinger Shows Off Her Nipple Pasties

As classic and safe as LBDs may seem, it turns out that they are actually quite risky when it comes to red carpets.

Last night, Scherzinger attended the National Television Awards in London wearing a black gown with a thigh-high slit and long bell sleeves, and accessorized with matching peep-toe pumps and draped gold necklaces. We thought the look was rather demure for Scherzinger, but apparently, we were wrong. When the photogs started snapping away on the red carpet, Scherzinger’s black dress became so sheer that everyone was able to see what appear to be her nipple pasties underneath. Whoops.

The same thing has happened to Stephanie Seymour and Lisa Rinna before, so at least Scherzinger is in good company. Let this be a lesson in red carpet dressing: don’t wear anything black unless it’s fully lined, or you know, wear a real bra.
